Hannibal Regional Hospital is accredited as a Community Cancer Program through the Commission on Cancer.

The Cancer Committee is a group of multispecialty physicians, administrative, quality assurance, nursing, and support staff who coordinate the activities of the Commission on Cancer (CoC) accredited Cancer Program.

Through ongoing monitoring and assessment, the Committee advocates for and assures quality services are available to meet the spectrum of needs of our cancer patients and their families, as well as the community.

The Cancer Committee is active in coordinating patient care studies, community education, screening programs, and process improvements. The Cancer Program is surveyed by the Commission on Cancer every three years. Click here to read The Cancer Committee's Annual Reports.
