Tumor Conference is a monthly meeting that provides a forum for physicians of different specialties to come together and discuss cancer cases. During the meeting the patient’s physician presents a summary of the case including patient history, physical findings, procedures performed, and the audience also reviews the projected radiology tests and pathology slides. The multispecialty audience then gives recommendations for further diagnostic testing and cancer treatment based on best practices and national guidelines for each patient presented. Tumor Conference meets at on the first Thursday of each month in the JECCC conference room. Physicians and ancillary staff are welcome to attend.
Lunch and one CME are provided. If you cannot join us in person we have free web conferencing capabilities. To join us via the web or to request your patient for presentation contact the Cancer Registry at 573-248-5430.
